A specialist division, not a side offering

Document Digitization Services exists for a narrow reason. Digitization is often sold as a line item inside a much broader IT or content-management proposal, and it tends to get scoped the way line items do: quickly, generically, and by someone who has not opened the boxes. It is a specialism, and it deserved a specialist presence.

We are the document digitization division of Athena Global Technologies LLC, an enterprise information management firm headquartered in the UAE with delivery operations in India. The group works across enterprise content management, records governance, intelligent automation and secure digital transformation. This division concentrates on one part of that: converting physical records into digital information that is searchable, structured and actually usable afterwards.

What we actually do

We take an archive, in whatever state it is in, and turn it into something your systems and your people can work with. That covers assessing what you hold, preparing the paper, capturing it properly, applying text recognition, building an index scheme that reflects how your organisation searches, checking the work, and landing the result inside your document management system rather than leaving you with a folder of files.

How we talk about our work

You will notice this site does not print an accuracy percentage, a turnaround guarantee or a page-count milestone. That is deliberate. Those numbers are meaningless without the methodology behind them, and quoting them before anyone has seen your documents is how projects get mis-scoped in the first place.

Where a figure would genuinely help, we would rather explain what drives it so you can work out your own. Where we cannot evidence a claim, we do not make it. This occasionally makes us sound less impressive than competitors who will tell you anything. We think it makes the eventual quotation worth more.

Where we work

We have offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. We work with organisations across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain, and on projects in the wider GCC. The remaining emirates are service areas covered by scheduled collection or on-site teams, not branch offices.

Who we work with

Government entities, banks and financial institutions, hospitals and insurers, law firms, universities, contractors and engineering consultancies, manufacturers and HR functions. What they have in common is not sector but scale and sensitivity: enough paper that finding things has become a real operational cost, and enough risk in the content that they care who handles it.
